Greetings everyone,
For those who might have questions regarding CORON and Dive Link Resort, please see the following for your information. I hope that the following may help you in any way:
1. is it still safe to play and travel to coron.
- Coron Town and Dive Link resort are being cleared of all debris and litters done by the typhoon. Hopefully, the areas will be cleared in one (1) week time.
2. From the news, boats are devastated already.
- Yes, boats have been devastated and our boats fell victim to the typhoon. However, we still have a functional boat that will be able to cater to your tours. Also, we have contacts from town boat operators who will be able to help.
3. Are the scenic spots still available?
- As of now, only the Banol Beach and the Siete Picados are accessible. Kayangan Lake, Skeleton wreck and CYC beach is still awaiting confirmation. Maquinit hot Springs is only accessible by boat during the high tide.
4. Food and electricity at the resort?
- Food and water supply in the resort is sufficient for our guests during their stay. However electricity hours have been cut short from 5pm-9am(the next day) to 5pm-6am(the following day). This is due to the shortage of diesel supplies that may come in to Coron.
5. We dont want to be confined in 1 place without being able to go around the scenic spots? this is for our guests mainly.
- Destinations are available but not all of them. We will be able to suggest some activities but, only our resort personnel will be able to give them to you since they are the ones onsite.
